About the Sustainability Working Group
The Sustainability Working Group is comprised of 45 members representing city and county planning staff and key community and public partners. This group receives information and updates from the Staff Management Committee and directs the Staff Management Committee on work priorities. Working Group members provide the Executive Committee with recommendations on objectives, plan implementation strategies, plan text and other deliverables, and how to resolve conflicts. Members also serve on sub-committees that advise the development of each of the Plan elements.
The Sustainability Working Group meets quarterly. Agendas and locations for the meetings are posted at least five days in advance and minutes are posted a maximum of one week after meetings. The public is encouraged to attend Sustainability Working Group meetings, or to become involved in one of the stakeholder agencies represented by the group.
