About the Regional Governments Committee
There are fourteen local jurisdictions included in the scope of the Gulf Coast Sustainable Communities Initiative. Local involvement and approval of the regional planning effort is essential for its success, and the Regional Governments Committee serves to keep local jurisdictions informed and supportive. The Committee is comprised of fourteen members: one top elected official from each jurisdiction.
